This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction company where you'll be working on a mixture of Residential projects, all whilst having support through chartership, great technical development opportunities and a clear progression route to Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Are you a Junior or Graduate Quantity Surveyor with some experience within the construction industry or a quantity surveying degree? Are you looking for an opportunity to have support through chartership, further technical development and progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor?
This growing construction company specialise in new build residential developments where they manage all aspects of the building process from groundworks to completion. With a focus on growth this company have multiple arms to their business including waste removal services and plant hire. They work on a variety of project values from more bespoke homes to small scale developments. With a focus on quality, they have found great success with both new and repeat business, therefore they are looking to add to their dynamic team with great opportunity.
In this role you will be working on 3 or 4 live projects at once with responsibilities including estimating pricing off projects and working on current live projects where you will be doing variations ensuring projects are running to specification and are remaining profitable. You will be responsible for helping in the creation and writing of tenders and take off's for new projects. Finally, you'll also be responsible for the pricing and ordering of labor and materials for the sites, ensuring they are arriving on time.
The ideal candidate will be a driven Junior or Graduate Quantity Surveyor who is looking to develop and progress their career, you will need a UK drivers license to be able to travel to sites within the north of England.

• Office based in Carlisle, with travel to their sites in the north
• Over seeing the cost control of projects

The Person:

• Junior or Graduate Quantity Surveyor
• Some Quantity Surveying experience or Quantity Surveying degree
• Driven to progress and develop
• Commutable distance to their office in Carlisle
• Full UK drivers license
