Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sales Associate to join the team at its offices in Coventry. You will start your journey as a lead generator, speaking to potential new clients and securing new business.
Once fully trained, you will move on to become a regional sales rep, where you will be given a company car and uncapped commission and the opportunity to grow your client base.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to take their first steps in a sales environment.
You will need to be outgoing, energetic, ambitious and naturally competitive to succeed in this role which also offers excellent progression opportunities into a regional sales rep.
Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport checks
- Informing customers of deliveries
- Inputting customer purchase orders
- Generating new tenders
- Introduction Letters (sending out introduction flyers and merchandise)
- Reporting (collating management information)
- Black Books (finding new companies)
- Arranging supplier and customer meetings for sales representatives
The successful person will have:
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- To be well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Previous outbound call experience in either a Call Centre or similar sales/customer service experience would be helpful but not essential.
- Full Training will be provided - Graduates & sports enthusiasts welcome
- A full, clean UK driving licence
