The role

Are you looking to grow in the sales space Do you want to work for a company who are passionate about developing their people Our client is seeking a Junior Sales Executive to be responsible for developing and managing relationships within the UK public sector and related public services. You will use your excellent communication skills to identify new business and maximise revenue opportunities and drive company growth. Your success will be measured through individual sales targets.

Task and responsibilities include

  • Identify, target and qualify prospective customers through networking, relationship building and lead generation to grow sales revenue and maintain a consistent sales pipeline utilising the CRM.
  • Support negotiations and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity in our CRM system.
  • Travel to meet prospects and event attendance across the UK will be expected on a regular basis.
  • Utilise social media platforms to engage potential customers, fostering relationships and generating leads.
  • Learn how to identify tender opportunities for our services and support the tender submission process.
  • Meet sales targets set.
  • Provide feedback from the field to shape marketing and service strategies.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments and capabilities of company offerings and the overall digital transformation landscape.

Required experience

  • 1-3 years sales experience, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build productive relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be confident in the professional networking space
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Technical proficiency with knowledge of the open source market would be advantageous
  • Proficient in using a CRM
  • Dedicated to personal growth, staying informed about industry trends, and actively seeking feedback for improvement
  • Open and transparent
  • Great team worker with a strong ability to collaborate
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and able to work independently
  • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
