Form of workOur client are a freight-forwarding company who are looking for a confident individual to join their friendly team to support with sales and expand their customer base. They are happy to provide training within freight services for the right person with suitable sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold-calling to set up your own desk with customers. Must have a thick skin and a proactive attitude.
- Responsibility for a portfolio of customers.
- Quoting customers for shipments.
- Build a CRM pipeline.
- Client Visits.
Key attributes
- Sales skills
- Ideally 2-3 years minimum within the shipping, freight forwarding and logistics industry but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - confidence a must
- Self-starter who thrives under pressure.
- Experience using a CRM system desirable
