L3Harris in Bristol provides enduring, robust and cutting-edge Platform Management Systems (PMS) for both the UK Royal Navy sub-surface and surface fleets, notably current Astute submarine and Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) aircraft carriers, in-build Type 26 and Type 31 frigates - this skill set also extends into cruise liners and super-yachts in the commercial marine market.
In this role you will be working with Project Management and Engineering colleagues to ensure schedules and resource demand are maintained in a timely fashion.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Support and maintenance of Project Schedules
- Working with Programme Management and Engineering teams to ensure schedules and demand are up-to-date and aligned
- Monitor future resource demand and availability
- Monitor historic demand and supply, identifying anomalies
- Supporting monthly reporting cycle
- Deliver scheduling support to a range of projects
- Assist continuous improvement initiatives
- Opportunities to develop and progress within a Programme Management environment
What you’ll bring
The role of Trainee Scheduler requires the following experience and skills:
- Hold strong educational qualifications – ideally from a Business Management or Data Analytics background
- Have an interest in utilizing your skills in a Programme Management environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, with a strong knowledge of Excel
- A willingness to learn
