Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £30k - £55k + Excellent Benefits

Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

The Client:

Our client is a well-established engineering firm, providing tailored solutions across diverse industries, facilitating automated or semi-automated raw material.

The Role:

As a Junior & Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing PLC & HMI / SCADA control software and conducting in-house testing. They are looking for two Control Systems Engineers (Senior and Junior).

Responsibilities:

- Designing, programming, installing, and commissioning systems.
- Specifying control components / hardware.
- Generating functional specifications.
- Collaborating with customers and suppliers.
- Overseeing site commissioning & servicing.
- Managing projects from concept to completion.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Control Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience in both ladder and structured text programming.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming (Siemens S7-1500, Siemens TIA Portal V18 ) and fault finding.
- Skilled in SCADA & HMI programming.
- Background in control system design, electrical design and implementation.
- Willingness to travel for service and commissioning works.
