TTM Healthcare Solutions are looking for a Junior Sister to join our Oncology Unit in Manchester. The Oncology Inpatient Unit enables nurses to deliver high standards of holistic care to patients with cancer, and each member of the team has specific expertise in treating and supporting patients through their cancer diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
Role Overview
Junior sister role entails of individualising care to the need of each patient, providing full treatment plans from diagnostic assessments to surgery, chemotherapy and anti-cancer drug therapies, radiotherapy, and supportive care. Working alongside an experienced nursing team you will help assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care while also being an advocate for the patient, ensuring all their medical, physical, and emotional needs are met by communicating effectively with them and their families.
Requirements
·NMC Nurse registration
·Experience in Chemotherapy administration
·Post registration experience within an oncology setting
