Job description

We are looking for Band 6 / 7 (dependant on experience) innovative nurses with a significant post-registration experience in ED / critical care and a strong interest in emergency and major trauma care to join our team at Wexham Park Hospital. It is essential that you have a post registration specialist course and experience of local management skills within your current area.
You must be dynamic, possess excellent communication skills, and have a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of nursing and support staff on a shift basis as well as quality and safety, high standards of patients care and ensuring patient flow throughout the department. You will be supported by Senior Nurses and our Clinical Practice Educators who support training for all staff across the ED and we actively encourage staff development by offering a comprehensive development package including a period of supernumerary, training and education to develop your management skills.
