Salary: GBP 25,000-30,000 DOE
A new and exciting position has recently become live with a leading IT-managed service provider.
They are searching for a Junior Software Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will feel confident speaking to and consulting clients with a passion for software development.
This would be an ideal position for someone from an IT support background looking to move into the world of software or a graduate/junior looking for the first steps of their software career!
This role requires you to work mainly on-site in Birmingham with occasional hybrid working, therefore, you will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
- Design and develop software solutions tailored to client requirements
- Provide technical expertise and guidance during client consultations
- Conduct regular meetings to update clients on project progress and gather feedback
- Customise and configure platforms to meet specific client demands
- Offer training and support to clients on using system tools effectively
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during implementation
- Continuously assess and recommend improvements to optimise client workflows and outcomes
Skills and Experience:
- Commercial experience in an IT environment
- Experience or knowledge of low-code development (Preferably Power Platform)
- Experience or knowledge of C#/.Net
- Comfortable and confident when talking directly to clients
