Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Solicitor to join our esteemed legal
team, specialising in Medical Negligence cases based in the HOMS Assist Limerick
office. As a Junior Solicitor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with
experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and contributing to the
resolution of complex Medical Negligence matters. This role offers a unique chance
for career growth in a challenging and rewarding legal environment. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for Medical Negligence cases handling a range of legal
cases and supporting clients. Your day-to-day work will involve managing cases,
drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, and ensuring that all legal
procedures are followed.

Responsibilities:

Conducting legal research to support ongoing Medical Negligence cases.
Assisting senior solicitors in case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
Interviewing clients, witnesses, and medical experts to gather relevant information.
Reviewing medical records and other pertinent documents to assess the merits of potential cases.
Attending court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations as required.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
Collaborating with internal teams and external experts to strengthen case strategies.

Qualifications:

Be a Qualified Solicitor in Ireland
Previous experience or keen interest in Medical Negligence law.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Good interpersonal skills to interact with team members and other members of the firm
An ability and willingness to develop relationships with client contacts
Excellent drafting skills, with a particular focus on attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
Have the ability to manage and prioritise tasks and to consistently meet deadlines
