Responsibilities within your new role

As the new Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef in producing a selection of mouthwatering dishes for the broad clientele at this venue. You will take pride in showing off your creativity and innovation, whilst demonstrating excellent presentation skills. In addition, you will aid the development of junior talent within the team with a proactive and supportive approach.

You will be a natural team player and support the rest of your team through a consistent and positive approach. You will also be able to deliver exceptional food while supporting the communication of compliance requirements to all team members with regard to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and any other related legislation.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have strong experience in a leading Chef role in high-volume and fast-paced kitchens, ideally within Michelin and 5-star hotels. Experience working in a kitchen with multiple menus running at the same time would be greatly beneficial. You will be required to be flexible and great attention to detail is needed when differentiating from menu to menu. You will ensure you are always one step ahead and will have a passion for industry trends.
