Junior Structural Engineer

We are recruiting for a Junior Structural Engineer working for an established property consultancy business based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.  This is a permanent role with salary up to circa £40,000 plus benefits, company vehicle provided, salary negotiable by experience.  Working Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m..   Working a fast paced organisation with career development and training working alongside senior chartered surveyors.

Responsibilities:

• Attending residential site visits
• Providing design and development support for residential properties
• Preparing plans and calculations
• Providing project reports
• Working with TAKLA TEDDS, TEKLA, CAD & BLUEBEAM (training will be given where necessary)

Skills and Experience required for the Junior Structural Engineer position:

• Degree qualified in a relevant subject
• 2/3 years experience in a Structural Engineering role or similar within construction/property
• Hold a Full UK driving licence
