The UCLH Junior Telephony Resident Engineer is a hands-on site-based role primarily providing technical expertise in one or more specific areas for Maintel onsite at UCLH. About the role
The UCLH Junior Telephony Resident Engineer is a hands-on site-based role primarily providing technical expertise in one or more specific areas for Maintel onsite at UCLH. The role is to enhance and develop the service to UCLH. Junior in their capability, this is not reflected in their attitude, this person should be ready to learn, supporting the rest of the team in providing service excellence.
What will you do?
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly managers services tasks specifically to UCLH
- Deliver an exceptional customer service to UCLH
- Work as part of a team to achieve SLA’s on initial and fix response, be this direct or indirectly
- Lift and maintain overall technical standards
- Create and maintain customer support documentation
- Presence on the 24x7 standby rota (once trained)
- Contribute to engineer training / buddy system via workshops and web sessions
- Contribute to the Maintel knowledge base
- Be able to attend UCLH offices Monday-Friday between split times of 8am[1]6pm
- Demonstrate Maintel values in all that you do #wearemaintel

What are we looking for?

- Knowledge and Experience
- Basic knowledge and experience of the Telecommunication Industry
- Some or trying to gain experience with Mitel – MiCC, MiVB and Micollab, training will be provided
