SalaryMy Client in Preston is looking for a Junior Test Technician. If you have the following experience please apply.
The role of Junior Test Technician is a component of Service and Maintenance Team and exists to service, repair and test company supplied products and services to agreed service level agreements.
You will have strong attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise work to deliver in an ever changing environment.
- Booking in and out of repairs
- Testing faulty equipment prior to repair
- Inspection and test
- Basic modular repairs and component level repairs with supervision
- Problem reporting
- Asset and Stock management
- Purchase orders
- Document Management
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Candidates must show motivation to develop & succeed.
- Have an interest in technical matters, with evidence through a previous course, hobby or role.
- PC literate.
- Be adaptable and eager to learn new skills.
- Undertake tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors.
- A desire to work with a fast-moving team.
The role will require you onsite 5x a week for the first 3 months and 2 x a week thereafter.
Salary GBP25,000-GBP27,000 depeding on experience
