Job Profile
The requirement for a Junior Warehouse & Maintenance operative has arisen through continued growth, expansion and demand in both customer base and orders.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working in a friendly and professional environment and who is able to manage multiple tasks at once, with a strong attention to detail, as well as an ability to react positively to set monthly objectives.
Duties
- Loading and unloading containers.
- Checking and organising stock.
- Picking and packing orders.
- Maintaining high warehouse standards.
- Driving forklift.
- Driving a van across sites located in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire for deliveries, collections and site maintenance tasks, as required.
- Working to and being aware of health and safety standards.
- Basic DIY property and grounds maintenance tasks.
Skill / Experience
- Warehouse experience would be ideal but not essential.
- Excellent awareness of Health & Safety and implementing procedures.
- The ability to self-motivate and the desire to work within a team.
- A willingness to travel between multiple sites with use of company vehicle, to suit the needs of the team/business.
- Basic DIY property and grounds maintenance experience would be ideal.
- A can do and will do attitude.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence.
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000DOE
