Junior Web Developer

We're looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our team.

As a Junior Website Developer, we need you to be efficient and dyanmic.

Due to the continuous growth and expansion of our web development output, we are looking for someone who is passionate about developing great-looking and functioning websites. If you have a passion for HTML and are looking to join a growing company then this role is for you.

Web development is a fast-moving industry and we are at the forefront of Front End Development via WordPress. We build plenty of websites on a yearly basis and maintain and manage even more so by joining the team you’ll be straight in and working on projects for us.

We need you to be skilled in the following areas.

Front End Development (WordPress)

Creating stunning-looking websites via WordPress using visual builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery or Oxygen. We need you to showcase your skills in both design and functionality as you will be creating websites on a regular basis and helping existing clients alter theirs.

Back End Development

We need you to have a good understanding of HTML, Javascript and CSS to ensure that our websites run smoothly. We will provide you with the tools to do the job but you’ll need to prove you’ve got the skills and knowledge to help us progress.

Website Maintenance

A big part of our regular client-base is our website maintenance output. We look after 100+ websites on a monthly basis. You need to have a good understanding of WordPress releases, plugin updates, testing and bug fixing.

Website Security

We ensure that our clients websites are as secure as they can be. You’ll need to have an understanding of our WAF’s work and the measures taken on websites to prevent breaches.

Graphic/Website Design

All good developers have a creative eye and we need you to be able to step in and help with our graphic design output. On top of this you’ll be responsible for creating design elements and also designing web-friendly templates for deployment via WordPress.

We’re looking to grow our agency with people who are passionate about their performance.

Experience

You’ll need 1-2 years experience or some GREAT examples of your work to share.

Driving

A driving license is very important due to regular off site meetings.

Commute

We highly recommend a commute of under 25 minutes.

Tech Skills

Proficiency with Website Development tools and skills such as;

• WordPress: you need to have an acute understanding of WordPress.
• Visual Builders: you’ll need to be proficient in building websites using builders such as Elementor.
• Code: we need you to be proficient in writing clean and lean HTLM, JavaScript and CSS.
• Google Workspace: Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Slides, Docs etc.
• Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Centre, Business Profile etc.
• Other Common CMS’s: Shopify, Joomla, Craft, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow etc
• The Adobe Suite: Photoshop/Illustrator, In Design, Premier/Rush, XD
• Moz, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEM Rush, Yoast etc.

Qualifications

Ideally a related University Degree or certification. Or the following;

• You can clearly demonstrate a proven track record of your work and show us examples.
• You can competently talk about problem-solving when it comes to development and can demonstrate hands-on experience.
• You can talk about, in detail the components of a website and how they function.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £24,000.00 per year
