Job description

Are you an apprentice trained or Junior Welder looking to get your foot in the door to a growing and financially secure manufacturing business? If so, we have an exciting opportunity with a business who manufacture bespoke products for a range of industries on a national basis.

The successful Junior welder will have the ability to read/understand drawings and will know how to fabricate following a job sheet.  

Junior Welder Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment
  • Fabricating assemblies for a wide variety of industries
  • Reading and interpreting customer engineering drawings.
  • Welder/Fabricator/Plastics/Apprentice Trained
  • Ability to read and understand drawings
  • A good working knowledge of plastics and or metals
  • Working to high standards and specifications
  • General assembly using hand and powered tools
