We're looking for a skilled KDB Developer experienced in fixed income trading to join our client team. This role offers flexible working arrangements and a chance to contribute to cutting-edge financial solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Use the KDB framework to automate and improve trading processes.
- Resolve real-time issues for traders and analysts.
- Develop new features for data analytics and support trading desks.
- Maintain tools for a sophisticated trading platform.
- Automate tasks across global teams for efficiency.
- Collaborate with traders and analysts to deliver effective solutions.
- Work with development teams for optimal system design and deployment.
- Take ownership of problem-solving until resolution.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Proficient in KDB and Q language for managing time series data.
- Experience implementing end-to-end KDB solutions, including Infrastructure as Code.
- Design experience with KDB systems.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products and markets.
- Advisory-level guidance on KDB implementations.
- Experience in optimizing system capacity and operability.
- Familiarity with automating delivery processes and building resilient platforms.
