An exciting opportunity for a Kent Enablement Worker has arisen to join us in Kent Enablement Service.

Kent Enablement Service (KES) is looking for someone who has, or who is willing to gain experience working with people within Health and Social Care.
KES supports people from 18 years old, including people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health.
We provide short term outcome focussed support for up to 12 weeks to enable people to reach their maximum potential in targeted areas of their life.
KES keeps the individuals at the centre of everything we do.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, motivated, be able to work autonomously and have an empathetic approach.
We are recruiting in various locations covering the County of Kent, to include DGS, Swale, Maidstone, Folkestone, Dover and Thanet therefore, the ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely manner is required. Mileage allowance provided.
KES invests in staff, providing induction, regular supervision, offering training, opportunities to work towards Care certificate, Diplomas in Health and Social Care, development opportunities within the team or wider Enablement teams, KCC standard benefit as outlined in the Blue Book.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
