Key Stage 1 Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary education, with a focus on delivering outstanding lessons to children aged 5-7 years.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all children in the class.
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to ensure children make progress and achieve their full potential.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, INSET training, and other school events.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages children to take risks, develop their creativity, and become confident learners.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree
- Experience of teaching in a Key Stage 1 classroom
- Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
