SalaryTeaching Personnel are currently working with a Jewish Orthodox Primary School in Hampstead Garden Suburb to recruit an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for a permanent position starting in September.

The successful candidate will be working with a Year 6 class in a general capacity while supporting the SEN register with additional time assisting pupils with specific needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils on a collective basis throughout the school day
- Monitoring behaviour
- Supporting the pupil with classwork set out by the teacher
- Monitoring progress of classwork
- Supporting the class teacher with the daily running of the class
Requirements:
- Have experience working with primary school pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Experience working with KS3, 4 or 5 pupils
- Hold either a degree or a Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
- Background in care
- Hold a valid up to date clean DBS check on the update service
- UK address and right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
