Key Stage Two Teacher April Start

Empowering Learning are working with a school in the Nottingham area (NG4) area who are looking to appoint a year four class teacher for the final term of the academic year. The school is a one form entry school and has recently had an OFSTED grade of 'Good'

The school are looking for someone who:

• Has previous teaching experience within KS2
• Is willing to contribute towards end of year report writing
• Can deliver engaging sessions and inspire children
• Has excellent classroom control
• Possesses strong behaviour management skills
• Has a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum

The main duties within the role are:

• Planning and delivering engaging sessions to a year 4 class
• Working cohesively with the other class teacher in the phase
• Delegating a classroom TA to work with targeted children
• Differentiating sessions to meet a range of needs in the class
• Liaising with the school SENCO around progress of pupils with SEN
