Join Our Culinary Team as a Kitchen Assistant!
Reporting to the Head Chef, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality food service within the home. As a key member of the catering team, you'll ensure the dining experience and services reach the highest standards of quality.
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene (Desirable).
- Minimum one year's catering background.
- Experience in a kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications and windows-based operating environments.
- Adaptability, reliability, and punctuality.
- Approachable, confident, and willing to learn.
- Diplomatic, enthusiastic, and flexible.
- Strong influencing, listening, and negotiating skills.
- Patience, a positive attitude, and self-motivation.
- Flexible approach to working hours, occasional availability outside of normal hours.
- Ability to uphold a professional image for the company at all times.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other homes for training or support.
