Kitchen Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter.

As a vital member of our Garden Room Cafe team, the post holder will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency within our kitchen environment.

Hours of Work

5 days per week, including Saturday and Sunday.

Between the hours of 10am - 5.30pm.

All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break for lunch.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the dishwashing equipment.
• Promptly delivering clean equipment and crockery to the Kitchen and Front of House teams..
• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising waste and recycling bins.
• Aiding with deep cleaning tasks as necessary.
• Upholding cleanliness and organisation of indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Assisting with basic food preparation.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Meticulous approach to cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Capability to withstand long hours of standing, lifting heavy objects (within HSE guidelines), and performing repetitive tasks.
• Reliable and punctual.
