The Holiday Inn Wembley is offering the perfect place for guests to relax with colleagues, friends and family. The open-plan space introduced an all-day dining menu, 24/7 coffee shop, free WiFi and board games.
As well as the Open Lobby, the Wembley hotel has a selection of comfortable guest rooms and several function rooms suitable for hosting meetings, weddings and events. The large Empire Suite has space for up to 700 guests, making it perfect for big weddings and conferences.
Located in the heart of Wembley, the 336-bed hotel is just a stone’s throw away from the iconic Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena. It is also close to major tourist attractions including Windsor Castle, Legoland, Thorpe Park, Syon Park, Kew Gardens and the London Transport Museum Depot.
Furthermore, the hotel has excellent transport links close to key motorways and the London underground. In addition, Heathrow Airport is just a 30-minute taxi ride away.
Job Description
We are currently looking for a reliable and ambitious Kitchen Porter who loves cooking and enjoys the challenge of working in a high-end market to join our professional and friendly team at the Holiday Inn Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Role in our Family
- Complete all required training (Food Hygiene & Safety, Health & Safety & Fire Safety) via the internal training system
- Contribute to the cleaning tasks and ensure the checklists are completed as per instructio
- Ensuring wastage is kept to a minimum and preventative wastage measures are fully understood
- Ensure correct chemicals are being used for the correct jobs and ensure all chemicals and blue roll stocked up daily
- Help to maintain and adhere to strict health and safety procedures
- Support the kitchen team in regard to preparation levels as required.
