Job Description
Kitchen Porter
Fulltime or Casual contract
Monday to Friday
£13.25 per hour
Ensure the effective and efficient supply of food, goods, and equipment to the kitchen and peripheral areas. To comply with food safety and health & safety regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries of food and other goods. Inspecting goods for quality and food safety.
- To ensure all operating, food, and health & safety standards are always followed.
- Assisted the logistics manager and back-of-house supervisor in ensuring all back-of-house catering functions' smooth and efficient operation.
- Set up and broke down events, function rooms, and cooking equipment such as BBQs.
- Moving heavy goods and equipment safely around the business.
- General cleaning and dishwashing tasks in support of the wider business.
Qualifications
- Must be hard-working and willing to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
- Demonstrates a high level of organisation and time management. Supportive team player.
