Contract: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
Job Brief:
To assist kitchen staff in the cleaning of all kitchen working areas and equipment. With some small duties around preparation of consumable items.
The Role:
- To clean all kitchen and food preparation areas and equipment
- To clean outside kitchen areas and dispose of rubbish in line with House requirements.
- To prepare vegetables and salads and our picnic lunches when required
- To maintain high standards of food and kitchen hygiene
- To engage and interact with guests in a way that promotes a warm and friendly atmosphere within the Country House Hotel.
- To be aware of and comply with the Society’s policy on the Health & Safety At Work Act 1974, The Food Safety Act 1990 (including Allergen Legislation), The Food and Hygiene Regulations and The Fire Regulations
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role is not essential but the right attitude is.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility in working hours, availability at evenings and weekends.
- A good team player
