Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary operations. Responsibilities: - Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of our kitchen staff - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment - Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients - Assist in receiving and storing deliveries - Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness of garbage areas - Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and cleanliness - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
