Form of workWe are partnering with a successful and committed primary school in the heart of Wood Green. The school is seeking a qualified and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team in September.
The School:
Rated 'Good' on the Ofsted rating and located a 10 minute walk from Wood Green station, the school is known for having high aspirations for its students and creating a learning environment that is inclusive for all. Class sizes range from 16-25 students with low behaviour needs. The teaching staff are dedicated to providing high-quality teaching, designed to spark children's curiosity and offer opportunity.
The role is a full time role, on a 12 month contract beginning in September. Pay is commensurate with experience on the main teaching pay scale - Outer London. The successful applicant should be enthusiastic and ambitious, and would be interested in developing their role.
KS1 Teacher Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS1 lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Creating engaging lessons for all learners, of all abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing support for areas of growth.
- Support provided by colleagues on planning, teaching and assessing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications.
- Applicants can be newly qualified or experienced that can demonstrate ambition and passion.
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
