You will hold at least a bachelor's degree and will benefit from the detailed knowledge and understanding of children's learning gained from this. Prior experience of working with children or in a school setting is advantageous but not essential, however it is mandatory that you hold a clear communication style and a drive to improve the academic progress of KS2 students. The Role In your KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting the teaching of children aged 7-11. You will monitor and track the progress of students to formulate appropriate learning materials and strategies to accommodate the needs of each individual pupil. Throughout your time as a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be building strong bonds with students to ensure the effective support of students in both 1-2-1 and small group settings.
