Hall Green Junior School is a popular, oversubscribed 4 form entry Junior school. We have very able and talented children and an enthusiastic, hard working staff team. We are looking to recruit an Inclusion/Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator to join our highly successful team.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • will be hands on, getting involved with teaching, learning and modelling good practice for all staff have a warm, friendly personality
  • holds or is willing to complete the national award for SEN co-ordination
  • are a qualified teacher with recent experience at KS2 involving successful SEND support within an inclusive mainstream classroom
  • has effective skills when working with children with a mix of difficulties and needs - eg SEND, LAC, Pupil Premium
  • have evidence of closing the gap for these children
  • are hardworking and adaptable to change
  • have great communication skills and a proven track record of working well with staff and parents
  • are able to put children at the heart of all they do
  • want to take full advantage of the opportunities we can offer in developing this role in our school
  • this role is non-class based but will have a teaching commitment.
