Position: SEMH Teacher (KS2) As an SEMH Teacher, you will take on a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education tailored to the specific needs of Key Stage 2 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges. Your experience and dedication will contribute to creating a positive and enriching learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to address the diverse needs of SEMH students.
- Collaborate with support staff and external professionals to provide comprehensive support.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support each student's progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
- Proven experience teaching in an SEMH or similar setting.
- Understanding and empathy for the unique challenges faced by KS2 SEMH students.
- Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
- Passion for making a positive impact on the social, emotional, and academic growth of students.
