KS2 Teaching Assistant

Here at Prospero, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join one of our local primary school teams in Preston, as a KS2 Teaching Assistant. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students, helping to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students in the classroom.
• Assist with lesson planning and classroom activities.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Monitor student progress and report to teachers.
• Help with classroom management and organisation.
• Contribute to the overall development and well-being of our students.

Qualifications:

• TA qualifications or a degree qualification in a relevant subject.
• Relevant experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced educational environment.
