Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Hyde Primary School. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning in Key Stage 2, assisting teachers and contributing to the overall development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Key Stage 2.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, reinforcing learning concepts and assisting with activities.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and materials.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting classroom management and behaviour.
- Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support the academic and personal development of pupils.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Key Stage 2, is advantageous but not essential.
- Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the development of children in Key Stage 2.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate pupils.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
