Lab Technician

Lab Technician, Permanent position, Basic salary is £30,600 + Benefits

Working hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm, Fri 8am-1pm.

With a focus on maintaining the highest quality standards, this role involves overseeing chemical processes, We're looking for our Client a meticulous Lab Technician to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications, contribute to process improvement, and uphold safety standards.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in chemical processes and analysis. They value organisational skills, methodical approaches, and a proactive mindset. Effective communication at all levels is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and analyse chemical process lines, meeting internal and customer requirements.
• Lead chemical additions and tank changes with trained operators' assistance.
• Develop and control procedures for chemical processes, ensuring specification compliance.
• Manage on-site process chemicals, including usage, identification, storage, and aerospace record completion.
• Run and maintain water treatment and neutralisation plant, ensuring safe treatment of waste chemicals.
• Conduct annual reviews for operators trained in chemical analysis.
• Maintain high-quality standards, work safely, and ensure full product traceability.
• Provide constructive feedback to the onsite chemist and NDT level 3 on potential issues and improvements.
• Contribute to team efforts, actively engaging in process improvement.
• Support the cell leader in training and transferring job skills and knowledge.
• Resolve problems collaboratively within the team.
