Lab Technician

Manpower has a unique opportunity for a Lab Technician to join the team at our Client site in Dorset. On an initial 12 month fixed-term contract you will provide technical assistance to engineers in the laboratory by performing routine experiments, operating lab equipment, testing samples and products and collating test data.

You will work safely in line with behavioural principles while undertaking testing using standard and specialised lab equipment to defined procedures, you will assist engineers in developing and defining tests and procedures for new projects as well as learning department processes.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of quality systems, previous medical experience in a research and development lab environment (ideally 6-12 months) and have the ability to communicate well with people at all levels.
