The Opportunity:
To play a key role in delivering crucial projects and improving patient outcomes for a growing business. You’ll be planning and carrying out laboratory work and reporting results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working independently to perform lab protocols according to work instructions & SOP’s
- Working with the Quality Management System (QMS) to prepare, review and update laboratory documentation
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues and equipment issues and overseeing the maintenance of reagent and materials inventory
- Contributing towards upholding laboratory cleanliness and equipment maintenance
- Abiding by safety requirements as defined by the company. Proper use of PPE for handling human and other biological materials and chemicals
Skills & Experience:
- Experience of working in a laboratory as part of a team
- Efficient time management skills
- BSc or MSc in a relevant subject or equivalent commercial experience
- Lab experience within a commercial, industrial or hospital environment (GMP or ISO complaint laboratory) is advantageous
- Experience with programming and validation of automated processes or proficiency in Microarray processing and analysis is especially desirable
