My client are a leading manufacturer of advanced industrial products based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK. Our clients solutions are vital to various industries including semiconductors, scientific instruments and industrial. They are now looking for Laboratory Technician to work very closely with the test teams to ensure that the facilities are fully equipped and functioning optimally for testing new or redesigned products.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, self–motivation, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, hands–on experience in electronic assembly, and preferably some knowledge of EMC testing.
Key Responsibilities for the Laboratory Technician job based in Eastbourne, East Sussex:
– Maintain EMC and Environmental testing facilities to high standards, adhering to the 6S approach.
– Manage access permissions and conduct training for engineers.
– Assist in constructing test equipment and conducting tests, ensuring precise data recording.
– Uphold safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with company policies.
– Maintain equipment inventory and ensure calibration and testing according to specifications.
Qualifications and Experience for the Laboratory Technician job based in Eastbourne, East Sussex:
