Laboratory Technician

Meridian Business Support are currently recruiting a Laboratory Technician experienced within the pharmaceutical industry to join our client’s located in Tredegar area.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual testing as per the laboratory testing process.
Communicate test fails and escalate issues as per the escalation process.
Make chemical additions to, and discards from, process solutions in a safe manner as per H&S instructions and procedures.
Work proactively to support production and inspection making recommendations and suggestions to address test fails in order to close technical issues in a timely manner.
Supporting quality and production during internal and external audits.
To look after laboratory equipment maintaining, calibrating, cleaning and testing sterility.
To order and maintain stock and resources.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a laboratory within a production environment.
Ability to take direction, learn and apply knowledge and skills within a changing operating environment.
Experience working methodically and systematically within a science environment
