Laboratory Technician

The School:

Revised Recruitment Group are working with a large Secondary school in Cardiff who have been recognised as excellent by Estyn in their latest inspection. The school supports pupils throughout KS3, KS4, KS5 .The school prides itself on a positive, inclusive, and welcoming ethos.

The Role:

As a Lab Technician , you will be responsible for preparing classrooms for science lessons, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available and in good working order. Your duties include setting up experiments, maintaining laboratory supplies, adhering to safety protocols, and providing technical support to teachers and students during practical sessions. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for facilitating engaging and effective science education.

• Have a passion for the education of children and working with pupil.
• Have the ability to form effective working relationships with pupils and staff 
• You will act as a positive role model for pupils 

Previous experience in schools is not essential as training will be provided. If you have had previous experience  or have an interest in doing so- please get in touch.
