Laboratory/Facilities Assistant

We are delighted to be working with an innovative and forward-thinking department in Headington who are looking to recruit a Laboratory/Facilities Assistant on a temporary contract for 12 weeks initially to provide front-line support to the department.
As a Laboratory/Facilities Assistant, you will be working a 37.5 hour week, over Monday to Friday.
Your roles and responsibilities include:
. Managing day to day building and site requirements
. Ensuring all health and safety procedures and policies are followed accordingly
. Monitor and manage stock levels, PPE and supplies
. Liaising with management, contractors, technicians and fellow staff for a smooth running of the lab
. Assisting with safe disposals for lab waste
The ideal candidate will have:
. Experience as a Laboratory Technician/Assistant
. Experience in following health and safety procedures
. Competent in Microsoft Office
