We are FBC UK, Fox's Burton's Companies! ……-And we bake the UK's most incredible biscuits (we might be slightly biased, but we
will leave that for you to judge).
FBC UK was a match made in heaven, with two of the top UK biscuits manufacturers (Burton's Biscuits and Fox's Biscuits) coming

We are home to famous iconic brands, including Maryland, Fox's, Jammie Dodger & Rocky, to name just a few. We bake our incredible
biscuits at eight bakeries across the UK, located at Ilse of Arran, Livingston, Blackpool, Llantarnam, Edinburgh, Kirkham, Batley
& Dorset. We also have offices for our supporting services in St Albans, Liverpool and Moreton. Together, we employ circa 4,000
amazing employees across all our locations.

What does your typical day look like?
Attendance (Hols/PRs/Sickness)
* Listen to absence line and complete notification documentation and notify SOM’s and DLLs. (numerous times through shift)
* Scan PR forms to Payroll and Finance and file
* Scan holiday forms to payroll for on shift holidays and file
* Scan any completed RTW documents to payroll and file
* Work through any holiday forms received for future holidays and check that; not more than 10% packers off that day, check SOMs
have signed, scan off to payroll for processing and stamp received. File away in week order. Finally input into holiday
database.
* Compile RTW packs for RTW interviews when absence is notified off and filed away in relevant line ready for SOMs to interview
* If required update holidays blocked notice for packers for those days with over 10% employees on holiday
* Monday – remove last week’s holidays documents from relevant files and archives. Update holiday files with upcoming holidays
for reference, we carry the next 3 weeks holiday forms in files in production office
Labour
* Complete daily/shift labour allocation report
* Labour allocation to lines at shift change (8:00,14:00,16:30,17:15,22:00)
* Ensure manning levels are correct and in line with the standard – Machine Operators and Packers and report any variances
* Responsibility for release of labour if excess (PR/Holidays) after consultation with AOM/SOM
* Complete required documents in respect of labour allocation (labour sheet, PR/Holiday sheet)
* Labour resource required for weekend production/cleaning including any overtime requirement
* Attend weekly Planning Meeting
* Work through paperwork from PTE and Night shifts including, input labour into database
* Regarding labour allocation on PTE shift and night shift, detailing PR’s, holidays and transfers out
* Keep Labour T-Card board up to date with any absences / transfers / holidays for reference
* Discuss daily labour requirements in advance with planner in order to monitor future flexi requirement on shifts and highlight
to SOMs of any issues
* Compile weekly labour requirement sheets for following 2 weeks and update as required, usually giving SOM’s new one daily
* Wednesday – Produce labour requirement plans for following 2 weeks for Planning Meeting
* Liaise with Agencies to ensure provision of appropriate level of agency personnel and place weekly order.
* Check Agency timesheets and send to Site Opt Manager weekly
* Maintain close working relationship with HR regarding starters/levers/transfers
Financial
* Deliver Pallet production documentation to finance first thing
* Resolve Packer wage queries in conjunction with payroll
General
* Deliver or return any paperwork/documents from production office to HR
* Putting notices/vacancies/flexi holiday list on notice boards
* Conduct face to face handovers
* Responsibility for availability of PPE
* Issuing of replacement knives
* New starter assessments and documentation
* Display exemplary personal levels of attendance (below 3%)
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
Qualifications
* Good standard of education (numeracy and literacy) either GCSE English & Maths (Grade A-C)/equivalent qualifications/equivalent
