Labourer/Land Fill Site Operative

Connect Appointments are currently seeking a LandFill Site Operative / Labourer to join our client's team working within the landFill Site in Swadlincote.
The role will encourage the candidate to learn and gain experience of carrying out the aftercare, monitoring and maintenance of water, gas and leachate systems, including getting involved with the general maintenance duties of associated infrastructure on the landFill Sites, and become familiar with the process.
The role will require you to work in a small team of Maintenance Technicians, but sometimes independently when trained.
The main duties will require you to:
Undertake routine collect and evaluate of monitoring data to ensure it is accurately - noting this will take time to learn
This role will require you to routinely collect data on-site everyday, this means working outside in all weathers and dealing with certain maintenance jobs that can be dirty at times Qualifications and Experience:
Full Clean Driving Licence preferable
Local to the area preferable
Enjoys outside work
Adaptable and good practically with good common sense is an advantage
Keen and ambitious to lean
Reasonably fit due to works involves a lot of walking and labouring type works on site The details:
£11.44 per hour
Monday to Friday 7.30am until 4.30
