Salary: £11 per hour

Job Details: Temporary to permanent

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday (07.30 am - 4.30 pm)

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

As a Labourer/Yardsperson your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness of the plant, yard, and workshop areas. This role may also involve driving duties for local deliveries, with a valid driving license being advantageous. Heavy lifting will be required.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in the workshop and yard areas, including daily cleaning of the workshop floor, benches, and waste bins.
• Pressure/steam clean plant equipment and ensure orderly storage.
• Perform refuelling of plant and machinery, updating the fuel log accurately.
• Assist with general workshop duties as required.
• Carry out driving duties as necessary, with a valid driving license.
• Operate a forklift when needed.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Foreman or General Manager.
• Performance Indicators:
• Yard and workshop kept clean and tidy.
• Ongoing management appraisal.

Key Requirements:

• Valid driving license (essential).
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Forklift operating experience (advantageous).
• Previous experience as a Labourer or similar role.
• Ability to follow health and safety rules.
