Torus Housing Group has ambitious development aspirations to deliver over 5,000 new homes across the North West.  

This programme amounts to a capital investment of £900million over five years. Our ambitious programme covers our three heartland areas of Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington as well as the Liverpool City Region and beyond. 

The post-holder will be part of a supportive and motivated team with expectations to assist in sourcing new schemes to add to the Torus Development Programme to meet the aspirations contained in the Group’s Corporate Plan. This role will report to the Land and Partnerships Manager.  

This is an important role in which: 

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed member of the team with the ability to support and lead where appropriate on feasibility work/pre contract work for development projects and have a flexible approach to work.  

To be successful in this role you will: 

Have experience of working in a successful target driven development environment and work with the team to identity new business opportunities.  

Have knowledge of the pre-contract development process, as well as understanding project management in all aspects of development schemes from inception to completion. Have an understanding of grant funding and Homes England processes and compliance.  An ability to communicate with a wide range of staff, customers and partners is essential.
