Land Based Chief Steward - Nw London

Our client, a UHNW family based in North London are looking for a land based Chief Steward to assist with all their House Management and personal needs.

Overseeing the management of the families London residence, you will have experience as interior yacht crew with sharp attention to detail, efficiency, housekeeping and service knowledge.

You will have an extensive background as Yacht crew and be ready to make the move to a land-based position.  

Hours:-   Full time with regular out of hours support required

Location:-   North West London

Salary:-   Dependent on experience

Start Date:-   August / September 2024

Interviewing:-   ASAP

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Supporting household staff with housekeeping and laundry when required
• Liaising with external contractors
• Welcoming guests, preparing and serving drinks and refreshments
• Shopping and inventory checks
• Assisting chef and butler as required
• Setting table and service
• Polishing silverware, care of antiques and artwork
• Manage household flowers and overall aesthetic presentation
• Assisting with families needs on a daily basis

Candidates must be / have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ yachting experience as Chief Stewardess (or 2nd Stew on larger vessels)
• 5* housekeeping standards
• Attention to detail
• Well presented at all times
• Supporting references
• DBS check
• Confidential and discreet at all times
