Nicholas Associates are working with a reputable House Builder based in Yorkshire who are currently seeking a permanent Land Buyer.

Working with the Land Director throughout the entire land acquisition process. You will be identifying, evaluating, and facilitating the acquisition of appropriate land for residential developments.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive competitor sales analysis.
• Coordinate land offers by working closely with various departments such as Technical, Commercial, Planning, and Sales.
• Build and manage relationships with housing associations to secure optimal offers for affordable housing, overseeing the contract negotiation and sale of affordable housing units.
• Play a role in instructing, reviewing, and managing Section 106 agreements.
• Prepare comprehensive land packs for Board approval.

About You:

• Demonstrated expertise in land acquisition within the Yorkshire property market.
• Proficient knowledge of planning regulations, sales comparable reporting, and financial modelling.
• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.
• Capable of collaborative teamwork with cross-functional teams.
