Landscape Gardener

We are recruiting for Landscape Gardeners based in Poplar, East London paying £15.18 per hour for on going work, with the potential to be offered a permanent role.

A driving license and previous experience as a Landscape Gardener are strongly desired for this role.

Job Purpose:- To work as part of a team to provide a landscape maintenance / horticultural service. To ensure the highest standards of service level delivery for the maintenance of all communal parks and green spaces throughout our Housing Estate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To assist in the maintenance of the horticultural landscape within the Housing Estate. Following instruction from the Estate Services Manager and Charge Hands which, not exclusively, will include:

• The maintenance of all communal grass areas
• The maintenance of all communal shrub and horticultural beds
• To operate and maintain a full range of machinery
• To assist with snow and leaf clearing where required,
• To take appropriate care of equipment necessary for the completion of the above duties.

Health & Safety

• To report during the course of your duties anything which might be considered to prejudice the health and safety or well being of staff & residents

Hours:-

Required to work Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am and 4pm
