Landscape Gardener

Here at Blue Iris Landscapes we are very pleased that due to a continued demand for our services, we are looking to expand our Landscaping team and recruit a Professional Landscape Gardener who has experience and produces work of excellent quality.

The successful candidate will be able to strongly support a small team, have a great eye for detail, be passionate about what they do and have a proven record of both soft and hard landscaping and creating beautiful gardens. Your abilities should allow for the Team Leader to visit other jobs and the standard to continue in their absence. You will have a great ‘can do’ attitude and be able to help develop your team to meet your exceptional standards too!

You will leave the main base for 7:00am, Monday to Thursday we aim to leave the last job at 4pm and on Fridays we leave the last job at 3pm. We work locally, usually within an hours radius of our base in Blythe Bridge.

As a Professional Landscape Gardener here at Blue Iris Landscapes, you will be hands on and knowledgeable in all areas of landscaping and experienced in leading a small team as required.

About you:
– A proven record of hard landscaping and maintaining grounds to a high standard.
– Full driving licence, ideally with a trailer licence.
– Enjoy working outside in all weathers.
– Be physically fit.
– Personally motivated.
– Good motivational skills.
– Able to work to deadlines set.
– A substantial amount of practical experience within a similar role – including laying flags, Indian Stone and porcelain paving, erecting fencing, decking and grounds work. Pond work, bricklaying and woodwork would be advantageous.
– Work to a high standard with a keen eye for detail, showing care and thought in all you do.
– Effective communication skills with other members of the team, the public and clients.
– A good knowledge of Health and Safety with respects to gardening and landscaping.
