Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager/Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts relating to building projects, specifically in the landscaping industry working on roof gardens in various locations. You will study the legalities of contracts and help to negotiate terms and conditions with clients and third parties, before drawing up legal documents to outline terms of service and project deliverables. You will also be responsible for managing the site, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts relating to building projects, specifically in the landscaping industry working on roof gardens in various locations.
- Study the legalities of contracts and help to negotiate terms and conditions with clients and third parties.
- Draw up legal documents to outline terms of service and project deliverables.
- Manage the site, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on site.
- Manage a team of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager/Site Manager in the landscaping industry working on roof gardens.
- Excellent knowledge of contract law and legal terminology.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a team of contractors and subcontractors.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
